NASCAR Follows ISC Merger With Structural/Personnel Moves
No more ISC |
NASCAR today will announce some of the structural/personnel changes to the company since it acquired ISC, headlined by ISC's Frank Kelleher being promoted to NASCAR Senior VP & Chief Sales Officer.
NASCAR bought ISC in a $2B deal that closed recently, and the sanctioning body is combining the two companies structurally. ISC execs were expected to play a key role in the combined company, and that is being underscored with Kelleher replacing Jon Tuck, who is leaving NASCAR.
Kelleher will oversee sponsorship and digital media sales across NASCAR and its 14 racetracks. Based in Daytona Beach, he will continue reporting to NASCAR Exec VP and Chief Operations & Sales Officer Daryl Wolfe. Tuck had been at NASCAR since '16 and most recently carried the title of CRO.
NASCAR also is promoting Managing Dir of Partnership Marketing Michelle Byron and Managing Dir of Series Marketing Jeff Wohlschlaeger to VP/Partnership Marketing. Both will report to NASCAR Exec VP and Chief Marketing & Content Officer Jill Gregory. Byron will be based in Charlotte, while Wohlschlaeger will be based in Daytona Beach.
Byron and Wohlschlaeger collectively replace former Senior VP/Partnership Marketing Lou Garate, who recently left for a role at Twitch. SBD/Adam Stern
