Coyne might run third car
Dale Coyne |
AutoRacing1.com spoke with Dale Coyne as he was leaving the Road America track Saturday night.
With Gutierrez in for Bourdais for the rest of the season, what happens when Bourdais returns for the final 1 or 2 races? Would run a third car for those final races?
Coyne said, "maybe."
It is believed that the Gutierrez ride is funded, so Coyne is not likely to park him.
As far as Bourdais' progress, Coyne said, "He has a doctor appt next week to see if he will be able to put some weight on his legs. If he can, he will start rehabbing."
We also asked if we would possibly see Seb later in the season at some races, working as a coach or mentor. Dale answered, "we have thought about the possibility of that."
