CGR president Lauletta being forced out

Lauletta's announcement

Steve Lauletta is leaving his post as president of Chip Ganassi Racing after CGR hired Doug Duchardt (formerly with Hendrick Motorsports) as its chief operating officer in January and is believed to be taking over most of the duties Lauletta was overseeing.

Lauletta joined CGR in 2007, and will step down at the end of March. However, he will remain with the organization through the end of the season as a consultant.
