Major changes have been made to the French Grand Prix with Eric Boullier named as Managing Director, while the event has also outlined a “mobility plan" to help fans attend the Grand Prix at the Circuit Paul Ricard.
He said: "I am happy and proud to be more involved in this beautiful project that is the Formula 1 Grand Prix de France. I look forward to continuing to contribute to the success of this great motor sport event on French soil. I would like to thank [French GP President] Christian Estrosi and the GIP Grand Prix de France – Le Castellet for their trust."
Their first order of business is the 2020 race on June 28, with a “mobility plan" set out to help fans attending the event. Those changes include an extension to the park and ride shuttle service range, a larger campsite, improvements to local traffic routes, a possible ‘priority lane’ and reserved car park for those who are carpooling.
