The 85th running of the 24 Hours of Le Mans was a race filled with drama and incident. And with two of the three eventual outright podium spots going to Jota Sport’s Jacki Chan Racing team in the LMP2 class, it was to be a memorable year for the underdog. In the end, however, the Porsche of Brendon Hartley, Timo Bernhard and Earl Bamber triumphed, with Aston Martin taking the GT class win ahead of Corvette Racing.
