Joey Logano Foundation giving $1 million to help those affected by COVID-19

Joey Logano and his wife, Brittany, are two of the greatest and most caring philanthropists in NASCAR and they proved it, once again, by providing a $1 million gift through the Joey Logano Foundation, in partnership with Elevation Church, to those affected by COVID-1, also known as the Coronavirus.
The donation will be used in multiple ways including through education, providing food and supplies and even financial assistance for those in Charlotte, NC and across the nation.
“Right now, the world is experiencing a situation like we’ve never seen before," Logano said. He added, “I’ve been blessed to have the ability to help others with our platform and for the past few weeks, the Joey Logano Foundation has been able to help in multiple ways on a local level. However, Brittany and I knew we could do more and felt a huge calling to give on a larger capacity at a statewide and national level. Partnering up with Elevation Outreach couldn’t have been a better fit."
Logano said that many families are finding themselves in difficult times with people being ordered to stay at home without the income they are accustomed to receiving from their jobs. They are having trouble providing for their families, while at the same time, becoming home school teachers for their children.
“At a blistering pace, Elevation Outreach and the Joey Logano Foundation (JLF) have been able to create a $1,000,000 COVID-19 Response and Recovery Fund, which will help provide funding and necessary supplies for organizations in need during this scary time," he said. “Part of JLF’s mission is to inspire others to live a life of generosity and our hope is that this Response and Recovery Fund is a catalyst for others to be inspired to give back during this pandemic."
