Video: Drunk driver takes flight over roundabout

The driver of a Suzuki Swift in Poland has been lucky to survive a shocking crash that occurred on Easter Sunday.

Security camera vision shared on Facebook by local publication Telewizja Aleksandrow Lodzki shows the Swift driving towards a roundabout at high speed. The driver failed to brake to go around the roundabout and ended up slamming into it. He crashed up a small brick embankment on the side of the roundabout and soared into the air.

Police suspect the man may have been drunk as there was a strong smell of alcohol inside the car. He was taken to a local hospital and has undergone a blood test. See video below:
