Adam Stern tweets: There has been chatter in the NASCAR and IndyCar paddocks that IndyCar exec Jay Frye has been offered a high-ranking position at NASCAR.

IndyCar CEO Mark Miles was in complete denial saying to @SBJSBD today that he doesn't believe there's anything to it.

Frye previously worked in NASCAR as co-owner of MB2 Motorsports for 11 years and for Hendrick Motorsports for 1 year.
