NASCAR sets first 8-race schedule (Update)

UPDATE NASCAR made it official and announced Thursday that it will resume its season without fans starting May 17 at Darlington Raceway in South Carolina with the premier Cup Series racing three more times in a 10-day span.
NASCAR is the first major sports organization to announce a specific return to play plans since the coronavirus pandemic shut down U.S. sports in mid-March.
The schedule is exactly how we laid it out below.
04/29/20 The NASCAR Cup Series plans to resume its 2020 season on May 17 at Darlington Raceway, with two races at Darlington and two at Charlotte to kick things off
The first six races back will take place without fans in attendance and will include three mid-week races close to the team shops. Face masks and temperature checks will be mandatory when entering any building. Outside crews will be required to wear face masks if within 6 feet of others.
