IndyCar: Saturday Morning Report From Long Beach

Good morning on another foggy morning at the Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach.  The temperatures for today are predicted to be in the mid-60s for the short day, where the NTT INDYCAR Series will be practicing and qualifying before lunchtime today.

Practice 2 is scheduled for 8:30 am PT.  The Firestone Fast Six qualifying is scheduled for 11:35 am.  Early times are due to the WeatherTech IMSA Sportscar Championship racing today at 2 pm.

The Historic Motor Sports Association had a morning practice session starting at 7:45 am.  The red flag came out two minutes into the session when the No. 8 McLaren hit the wall between Turns 3 and 4 and caused extensive damage to the car’s front end.
