“Entering the NASCAR Cup Series is a dream come true,” said Legge. “I’m excited to team up with Live Fast Motorsports for Phoenix, and to represent our sponsors DROPLiGHT and Sherfick Companies. Racing stockcars has been an incredibly fun and new challenge that’s given me a renewed sense of vigor for this sport. As always, I’m grateful for the opportunity to do what I love and am inspired by all of the effort, preparation and behind the scenes work it takes to get here.”

Live Fast Motorsports Co-Owner & CEO Jessica McLeod shared, “We’re happy to partner with Katherine for this race. A known sportscar specialist, Legge is one of nine women to have raced in the prestigious Indianapolis 500, where in 2023 she set the record for fastest qualifying effort by a woman in the event’s history. Katherine is also the first woman to win a major open-wheel race in North America in 2005.

Legge’s accomplishments extend to sports cars and endurance events, including podium finishes in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship and participation in world-renowned races like the 24 Hours of Daytona. Katherine’s impressive racing portfolio also includes starts in the NASCAR Xfinity Series and the legendary Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, showcasing her adaptability across a wide range of motorsport disciplines.

The Phoenix race will be taking place on Sunday, March 9, 2025. Fans can tune in to watch Katherine Legge in action at Phoenix Raceway, with coverage of the race on Fox Sports and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio.
