Andretti Global Announces Renovation of IndyStar Pulliam Production Center

Andretti Global announced today it will convert the former IndyStar Pulliam Production Center at 8278 Georgetown Road in Indianapolis to serve as the headquarters of Andretti Global’s INDYCAR, INDY NXT and Formula E teams. The building is expected to become operational for the race team in summer 2025.

Why They Are Doing This:  Andretti barred from co-locating all their teams in massive Fishers, IN. facility

“We are excited to create a state-of-the-art racing and technology center for the Andretti Global teams,’’ said Jill Gregory, president of Andretti Global. “The 240,000-square-foot former printing press facility provides a unique opportunity having both preexisting office and industrial space under one roof, making it uniquely suited to Andretti’s needs, while providing exceptional opportunities for employee well-being and competition success.’’

With Andretti operations presently on Zionsville Road, less than two miles from the Georgetown facility, the new property has the added benefit of remaining centrally located to the INDYCAR community and vendor network.

Renovations will enhance building technology, create custom-built working and fabrication areas and feature industry-leading employee amenities including a fitness center and pit-stop performance space, employee dining and gathering areas and additional amenities.

Andretti’s partners in the project include Bradford Allen Development Company, a Chicago-based real estate firm tasked with overseeing the redevelopment of the Georgetown Road facility, which was previously occupied by The Indianapolis Star.

Work will include the removal of several three-story printing presses and extensive modernization throughout. Louisville, Ky.-based ABEL Construction Co. will serve as general contractor of the project, which will be designed by Charlotte, N.C.-based Merriman Schmitt Architects.
