IndyCar News: Ericsson tops Practice 2 for the Grand Prix of St. Pete
Andretti Global Honda driver #28 Marcus Ericsson turned a lap of1m0.5151s to top Practice 2 for the 2025 Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg on the Streets of St. Petersburg.

Rinus Veekay in the #18 Dale Coyne Honda was 2nd fastest, 0.093s behind Ericsson.
Defending IndyCar champion Alex Palou was third in the Chip Ganassi Racing #10 Honda, 0.1255s behind Ericsson.
Nolan Siegel was the fastest Chevy driver, 0.1256s behind Ericsson while Conor Daly rounded out the top-5, 0.1998s behind Ericsson.
Prema Racing had an issue with Robert Shwartzman’s radio communication resulting in the rookie only turning 10 practice laps.
