New teaser for Brad Pitt F1 movie released on Super Bowl Sunday
With the 2025 NFL Super Bowl about to begin, the second trailer for the upcoming Brad Pitt F1 movie was released, a dramatic look at the upcoming movie.

Brad Pitt stars in the movie as Sonny Hayes, a retired F1 driver who suffered a terrible crash in his past. He’s convinced to come out of retirement and train a rookie prodigy, played by Damson Idris, for the Apex Grand Prix team.

The new trailer contains almost no dialogue but plenty of racing action that should excite fans of the sport, including a glimpse of Pitt behind the wheel and rocketing into Eau Rouge and Raidillon. Those two corners, at the historic Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps, the site of the Belgian Grand Prix, are two of the most historic corners in the sport.
From Apple Original Films and the filmmakers from Top Gun: Maverick comes the movie named F1®. The film is produced by Jerry Bruckheimer, Kosinski, famed Formula 1® driver Lewis Hamilton, Pitt, Jeremy Kleiner, Dede Gardner and Chad Oman.
The highly anticipated Formula 1® racing feature stars Pitt as a former driver who returns to Formula 1®, alongside Damson Idris as his teammate at APXGP, a fictional team on the grid. The feature has been shot during actual Grand Prix weekends as the team competes against the titans of the sport.
F1® also stars Kerry Condon, Tobias Menzies, Kim Bodnia, and Javier Bardem.
Kosinski directs from a screenplay by Ehren Kruger. The film is executive produced by Daniel Lupi. Collaborating with Kosinski behind the scenes are his creative team, including director of photography Claudio Miranda, production designers Mark Tildesley and Ben Munro, editor Stephen Mirrione, costume designer Julian Day, casting director Lucy Bevan and composer Hans Zimmer.

There will also be appearances by real life Formula One drivers, including Lewis Hamilton, George Russell, Max Verstappen, Sergio Pérez, Charles Leclerc, Carlos Sainz Jr., Lando Norris, Oscar Piastri, Fernando Alonso, Lance Stroll, Pierre Gasly, Esteban Ocon, Valtteri Bottas, Zhou Guanyu, Nico Hülkenberg, Kevin Magnussen, Daniel Ricciardo, Yuki Tsunoda, Logan Sargeant and Alexander Albon.
