Nissan/NMC announces 2025 Super GT GT500 team lineups
Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. and Nissan Motorsports & Customizing Co., Ltd. (NMC) today announced their 2025 Super GT GT500 class team lineups.
Takao Katagiri, head of Nissan’s Motorsports Business Unit and president of NMC, says, “This season, we will take on the Super GT challenge with two new and two current driver combinations. Our aim is to retake the championship and build team organizations that enable all four teams to win.
“Major preparations for the 2025 season will begin next week, and will involve the development division and the teams working closely together to further improve the Nissan Z NISMO GT500.
“Like every season, we will do our best to deliver the excitement of motorsports to fans and we thank you for your ongoing support.”
Nissan/NMC consider participation in the SUPER GT GT500 class to be a works activity and will field four Nissan Z NISMO GT500s with the following teams.

Masataka Yanagida will continue as executive advisor and support the four teams and eight drivers together with Ronnie Quintarelli, who is newly appointed to the position of NISMO ambassador and advisor. Kunihiko Kakimoto — who served as a NISMO ambassador for many years — has been named honorary NISMO ambassador.
