Formula 1 News: MSC Cruises to sponsor three F1 races in 2025

MSC Cruises will build on its global partnership with Formula 1 as the title sponsor of three World Championship Grand Prix races in 2025.

It will be the first time the cruise line’s brand will be included in the name of the races and will be in addition to track branding which has been in place since 2022.

The first of the races is the Formula 1 MSC Cruises Austrian Grand Prix 2025 taking place June 27-29. The eleventh race of the season, it will be held at the Red Bull Ring race track in Spielberg.

The second is the Formula 1 MSC Cruises United States Grand Prix 2025 to take place at the Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas from October 17-19.

Third is the Formula 1 MSC Cruises Grande Premio de Sao Paulo 2025 in November: the Brazilian Grand Prix will take place from November 7-9 at the Autodromo Jose Carlos Pace (Interlagos).

As part of the agreement, MSC sister brand Explora Journeys will also appear at Formula 1 Grand Prix de Monaco in May when the newest ship in the fleet, Explora II, will be docked at the city state’s Port Hercule with a prime position for race fans onboard.

An MSC spokesperson said: “The collaboration between the two world-class brands reflects Formula 1’s continuing global growth and the continued popularity of cruising as a holiday choice.”
