IndyCar News: Hunter-Reay, Harvey To Drive For DRR/Cusick At Indy 500
2014 Indianapolis 500 winner Ryan Hunter-Reay and NTT INDYCAR SERIES veteran Jack Harvey will comprise the two-car entry for Dreyer & Reinbold Racing/Cusick Motorsports in “The Greatest Spectacle in Racing” this May, team officials announced via social media Dec. 4.
The 109th Indianapolis 500 presented by Gainbridge is scheduled for Sunday, May 25, with live coverage on FOX and the INDYCAR Radio Network.

Hunter-Reay, from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, will attempt to make his 17th career start in the world’s most prestigious auto race in the team’s No. 23 Chevrolet. This will be his third consecutive year driving for DRR/Cusick during the Month of May.
2012 series champion Hunter-Reay has produced six top-10 finishes in the “500” during his career, his last coming in 2020 with Andretti Global. Hunter-Reay placed a strong 11th in his first Indy start with DRR/Cusick in 2023.
Harvey, from Bassingham, England, will try to make his seventh Indianapolis 500 start in the team’s No. 24 Chevrolet, his first since 2022 with Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing. He ran a partial schedule last season with Dale Coyne Racing that did not include an Indy ride.
INDY NXT by Firestone graduate Harvey has one top-10 finish in the Indianapolis 500, ninth in 2020 with Meyer Shank Racing.
