NASCAR News: Ricky Stenhouse Sr. reinstated by NASCAR

There were no penalties for infractions at Bristol Motor Speedway. However, Richard Stenhouse Sr. and crew member RJ Otto have both been reinstated.

Stenhouse has been suspended since his role in a post-race altercation involving Ricky Stenhouse Jr. and Kyle Busch at this year’s All-Star Race at North Wilkesboro Speedway.

Ricky Sr. will now be eligible to return to JTG Daugherty Racing’s garage or pit area for race weekends next season, as Stenhouse Jr. failed to make the NASCAR playoffs this year.

The news of Ricky Sr’s reinstatement was announced on social media Tuesday afternoon, marking the end of his suspension. The offense initially began on May 19 following the altercation at North Wilkesboro Speedway.
