Formula 1 News: Norris nips Leclerc in 2nd 2024 Singapore GP FP2
Lando Norris in the superior McLaren turned a lap of 1m30.727s to top the 2nd Practice session for the 2024 Singapore GP around the Marina Bay Street Circuit.

Fastest in Practice 1, Charles Leclerc was 2nd quick in his #16 Ferrari, 0.058s behind Norris.
Carlos Sainz was again 3rd quick in his #55 Ferrari, 0.629s behind the Mclaren of Norris.
Yuki Tsunoda was a surprise 4th in the Visa Cash App App RB, 0.741s behind Norris while Oscar Piastri rounded out the top-5, 0.747s behind his teammate Norris.
Both Mercedes drivers were unhappy, Hamilton more so to be fair. And with Russell in seventh despite a small crash to end the session, and Hamilton down in P11, there is pace to find for them overnight if they want to be competitive come qualifying.

Point leader Max Verstappen is a having a poor weekend so far, a massive 1.294s behind Norris and slower than teammate Sergio Perez (8th) and both ‘B’ team Visa Cash App RB cars.
