IndyCar News: Canapino gets sent back to Argentina
Now that Mark Miles’ fishing trip to Argentina has resulted in no race in that country as we predicted, Juncos Hollinger Racing and Argentina driver Agustin Canapino have mutually decided to part ways, the team has announced.
Canapino took the leap into open wheel racing for a year and a half, but when the money from Argentina dried up, Canapino’s dream was over, which is the typical story for IndyCar’s plethora of ride-buyers.
Both Canapino and the team worked tirelessly to learn, grow, and succeed throughout his time at JHR, that was until the money was all gone.
The team thanked the Argentinean for his time at Juncos Hollinger Racing and said they will be cheering him on as he continues his journey back to Argentina.
