There will be racing at Pocono Raceway later this year, but the stands at “The Tricky Triangle" will remain empty.

Fans will not be allowed to attend the two NASCAR Cup Series races, along with the NASCAR Xfinity Series and NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series races, on Saturday, June 27 and Sunday, June 28 because of guidelines from the state on reopening amid the coronavirus pandemic, the raceway in Long Pond announced.

“Following the guidance on sporting events in Pennsylvania issued by Governor Tom Wolf this week, the 2020 NASCAR events at Pocono Raceway will be held without fans in attendance," Pocono Raceway senior director, marketing communications Kevin Heaney wrote to PennLive in an email. “Current ticket holders can request a refund or account credit by visiting our website. We appreciate our fans’ patience, as well as the collaborative efforts from Governor Wolf’s administration and NASCAR, during these unique times. More details will be made available at a later date."
