TV News: USA Motorsports Weekend TV Ratings
USA Motorsport TV Ratings from last weekend. NASCAR was in Darlington, IndyCar was on the Indy RC and IMSA was at Laguna Seca.
TV Rating Analysis
NASCAR
NASCAR Cup Series action from Darlington garnered a 1.4 rating and 2.63 million on FS1 — flat in ratings and down 2% in viewership from last year (1.4, 2.69M).
The NASCAR Xfinity Series action from Darlington on FS1 got a 0.48 and 782,000, down 38% from last year’s 1.271 million
NASCAR Truck Series racing from Darlington (S.C.) scored 310,000 on FS1, down 35% from last year’s 479,000.
IndyCar
The IndyCar Series Indianapolis Grand Prix had a 0.52 and 875,000 on NBC — up 13% and 23% respectively from last year (0.46, 715K). However, it’s down 12.3% from 998,000 viewers in 2022
Episode 3 of Season 2 of IndyCar’s version of F1’s Drive to Survive called 100 Days to Indy aired on CW on May 10th, and the viewership numbers are out, and it wasn’t good.

Meant to ride on the coattails F1’s successful Netflix Series Drive to Survive, 100 Days to Indy just never seemed to have the same impact as Drive to Survive in terms of generating new fans, which sees between 5 and 6 million viewers per episode.
Our best guess is that almost all the weekly viewers were IndyCar’s existing hardcore fanbase.
IMSA
IMSA WeatherTech racing from Laguna Seca scored 436,000 on NBC, down 10% from last year’s 482,000.
