F1 Rumor: Add Bearman to list of drivers at Haas in 2025
Rumor has it that the Haas team is getting frustrated with Kevin Magnussen’s lack of ace and numerous mistakes and may replace him with Oliver Bearman in 2025 at Ferrari’s request.
Nico Hulkenberg is leaving Haas for Stake F1/Audi, and Oliver Bearman widely expected to be officially announced as a full-time driver in the near future, following his impressive Saudi Arabia debut.
Owing to the improved performance of the car, the second seat has become an interesting proposition, and given Komatsu’s impressive start, multiple drivers are eyeing up the seat, currently held by Magnussen.
Among others, Guanyu Zhou, Esteban Ocon and Valtteri Bottas are frequently mentioned as candidates.
Drivers such as Jack Doohan, Zak O’Sullivan and Zane Maloney are also looking for an F1 seat, with Logan Sargeant’s manager also entering talks with Haas. His continuing at Williams for a third season in 2025 is seen as extremely unlikely.
Both Guanyu Zhou and Logan Sargeant bring money – the question is: Who can write a larger check?
As for Bearman, they would take him if Ferrari offers free engines for a year.
