Amid rumblings of unrest at the Red Bull Formula 1 team, its technical director, Dr. Pierre Wache, has signed a new contract that coincides with Max Verstappen’s contract.

Red Bull technical director Dr. Pierre Wache has committed his Formula 1 future to the Milton Keynes-based team after signing a Salary increase contract earlier this year.

RacingNews365 reports that after he signed a long-term contract in mid-2023, he soon put pen to paper again in February to sign an upgraded contract.

That brand new deal ties the Frenchman to Red Bull through the end of 2028.

In doing so, Dr. Wache appears to have sent a clear signal to other teams interested in the Frenchman’s knowledge.

Editor’s Note: Dr. Waché earned a doctorate in fluid dynamics from the National Polytechnic Institute of Lorraine, specializing in bio-mechanical engineering.
