The Red Bull driver has taken dominance to a different level and hardly makes any mistakes.  The driver continues to perform relentlessly at a very high level.

Last weekend in the F1 Chinese GP, Max Verstappen was once again in a different league compared to everyone else and won both the sprint and the main race.

There was not a single racing lap in the Chinese GP where any of the top 4 drivers – Sergio Perez, Lando Norris, or Charles Leclerc  – were faster than Max Verstappen.

Not even one lap. It may have been Max’s most dominant win yet. His pace was demoralizing.

On Sky Sports, Hill said:

“We don’t know how much more Verstappen has got in hand. Clearly Checo is not as quick and he’s a good driver, but Verstappen is amazing. People are already talking about him as being established as one of great F1 drivers of all-time. I can’t argue with that.”

He added:

“He’s got the equipment, yes. But he’s got the equipment because he was so blindingly obviously quick and aggressive and competitive. Also mentally, he’s on top of everything, he knows what’s going on and doesn’t need much help but has a great team behind him. He’s almost indestructible at the moment.”

Former F1 driver Karun Chandhok expressed interest in seeing Max Verstappen in another car – an entirely different challenge where everything does not work perfectly.

Toto Wolff would love to sign him for Mercedes, but there is zero chance he would leave red Bull to drive that inferior car.

On the Sky Sports post-race show, Chandhok said,

“I would like to see him drive for someone else! He’s at one with that car. It would be fun to see. How much is it Max versus this car?”
