In an event organized by LST Marketing for Red Bull, More than 50,000 fans gathered in Washington D.C. on five blocks of the iconic Pennsylvania Avenue as Red Bull Showrun D.C. took over the heart of the American Capital.
Former Red Bull Racing driver David Coulthard took the RB7 F1 car up and down the iconic thoroughfare, expertly maneuvering donuts and burnouts to the fans delight.
Unforgettable performances by Rallycross Champion and former F1 driver Scott Speed surprised the crowd, as well as street freestyle motorcyclist Aaron Colton who defied gravity with his acrobat-like skills.
In a place as monumental as Washington D.C., the event delivered fans an up-close look at a F1 car, one of the fastest vehicles on the planet.
“The best part of the Red Bull Showrun is being able to bring Formula One to some fans that have already seen it, but more importantly to fans who have never seen it before,” said Coulthard. “Pennsylvania Avenue from the cockpit looked wonderful and it’s been a great privilege to drive the F1 car down this iconic street.”
A two-day event, Red Bull Showrun DC made its presence known throughout the District with a Fan Fest at Union Market on Friday and more fan festivities on Saturday ahead of the main event.
