Formula 1 News: Verstappen tells Red Bull employees to call him

Max Verstappen has told any Red Bull employee that has doubts he is staying with the team to call him.  He’s committed and not leaving.

Fake rumors by the F1 media have linked the three-time world champion with a shock move to Mercedes amid an ongoing power struggle behind the scenes at Red Bull.

Toto Wolff has openly flirted with the prospect of replacing Ferrari-bound Lewis Hamilton with Verstappen.

But Verstappen insists his future remains with Red Bull and has told anyone within the team unsure over his commitment to give him a call.

He told the Dutch media this week: “At the moment nobody is afraid of that, I think. Two weeks back, though? Mwah, that may be.

“But some people also read a lot, I don’t. And I think in general that does help. That’s what I do try to tell people, yes, that they better not read it all for a while, certain things. And if there are any questions, anyone in the team can always call me.”
