TV News: Weekend USA TV Ratings (Update)
We now have the final TV rating data for this past weekend’s NASCAR Cup race in Las Vegas and the Formula 1 race from Bahrain. See table and analysis below.

TV Preliminary rating data is in for this past weekend’s NASCAR Cup race in Las Vegas and the Formula 1 race from Bahrain.
NASCAR Cup
Fox TV got 4.359 million viewers for Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series race at Las Vegas, up 9% from last year (3.991 million), the most watched sports event of the weekend in the U.S.
Whereas 39% of the F1 race viewers were in the all-important 18-49-year-old category, the NASCAR Cup race could only draw 19%.
The NASCAR Xfinity and Truck races both lost viewership this year, as shown.
Formula 1
Saturday’s F1 Bahrain GP on ESPN attracted avg audience of 1.12M. It was the third-largest Bahrain GP audience on record.
The race ran on Saturday for the first time due to the upcoming Ramadan. Sunday Sports TV viewership is typically higher because viewers have less family activities going on
1.3M watched in 2023 (on Sunday), so a drop of 14.9% by the race moving from Sunday to Saturday.
The audience peaked 1.26M between 11:15-11:30a ET
