The morning session of Day 1 IndyCar preseason testing on the Sebring Short Course is complete with Andretti driver Kyle Kirkwood (shown above) on top.

Kirkwood’s time of 52.5618s in his #27 Andretti Honda was 0.0218s faster than Rinus Veekay in the #21 Ed Carpenter Chevy.
Defending IndyCar champion Alex Palou was third, 0.0342s behind Kirkwood in his #10 Ganassi DHL Honda
Alex Rossi was 4th for Arrow McLaren, 0.1589s off Kirkwood’s pace, while Scott Dixon rounded out the top-5 in the #9 Ganassi Honda, 0.1696s behind Kirkwood.
