Formula 1 News: Drive to Survive Season 6 set to launch
The sixth season of Drive To Survive is set to drop in less than 2 weeks. Producers of the popular Netflix show have recently taken to their Instagram account to not only confirm their return, but also to announce the official release date.
Here’s everything we know.
- Drive To Survive season six has a confirmed release date of February 23, 2024, and will consist of 10 episodes.
- The season will cover highlights from the 2023 Formula 1 season, including Max Verstappen’s dominance and battles between Ferrari, Aston Martin, McLaren, Mercedes, and Ferrari for podium positions.
- Max Verstappen, who previously boycotted the show, appeared in the fifth season and is expected to be featured in the upcoming season, where fans can expect behind-the-scenes footage of his record-breaking third world title.
Coincidentally, the release of this new series lands exactly as pre-season testing concludes, so die-hard F1 fans will have plenty to celebrate in the coming weeks. Looking into the future, Drive To Survive has not yet been confirmed for a seventh series, but given the huge success of the show and the attention it’s introduced to Formula 1, it would be a huge surprise if they stopped at this point.
