TV Rating News: NASCAR Busch Light Clash TV Viewers tune out (Update)
We now have more complete TV Rating data for last weekend’s NASCAR Cup Busch Light Clash, and it did not get much better.
The Busch Light Clash Qualifying TV Viewership was as bad as the main event, and in both cases the all important 18-49 year-old age group that tuned in was down over 60%.
Given there were no competing NFL games on Saturday night, the numbers are troubling to say the least.

FS1 drew 1.511 million viewers for Saturday night’s NASCAR Busch Light Clash Cup race, down 58.6% from 3.647 million in 2023 on Fox and down 64.7% from 4.283 million in 2022 on Fox.
The race was moved to Saturday night from a scheduled Sunday night airing due to incoming severe weather in LA.
With that said, the race on the Mickey Mouse LA Coliseum track is horrible compared to when it used to run at Daytona, so fans are not tuning in nor are many attending in person.
It’s an idea whose time has come to be axed.
