Formula 1 News: BWT Alpine F1 Team confirms Abbi Pulling

Alpine Academy driver Abbi Pulling will race in the F1 Academy series for 2024, continuing with British outfit Rodin Carlin.

Abbi will head into her second consecutive season in F1 Academy having competed in the inaugural 2023 campaign of the series, in which she claimed seven podiums, two pole positions and four fastest laps to finish fifth in the standings. She will continue to race with British junior team Rodin Carlin.

Abbi aims to continue her already impressive career in single-seaters since her debut in British Formula 4 in 2020, where she finished sixth in the Championship. She joined W Series midway through the 2021 season, finishing seventh in the standings, before going on to compete in the full 2022 season, finishing fourth in the standings.

Abbi joined the Alpine Racing family in 2022 as a member of the Alpine Affiliate program, becoming a full Alpine Academy member ahead of the 2023 season. Heading into the 2024 season Abbi will continue to gain valuable support as an Alpine Academy driver from the program’s fleet of staff, as well as guidance from the broader network of BWT Alpine F1 Team.

This will be the second season in which the Alpine Academy has supported a driver competing in the all-female F1 Academy series. BWT Alpine F1 Team will support the series in an official capacity for the 2024 season as part of F1 Academy’s agreement with all 10 Formula 1 teams and in line with Alpine’s continued dedication to the diversification of the motorsport industry through its Rac(H)er program.
