F1: Netflix Ayrton Senna Mini-Series Update

Not resting on its successful ‘Drive to Survive’ F1 Series laurels, Netflix is working on a six episode mini-series on Ayrton Senna.

Officially called ‘Senna,’ the TV series is based on the life of F1 legend Ayrton Senna. ‘Senna’ is said to be one of Netflix’s most important productions.

The project was first announced back in 2020 as an eight-episode series, but is now six.  It was supposed to launch in 2022 but has been delayed a couple of years. Gullane is the production company behind the series.

The six episodes will allow fans to witness the Brazilian driver’s journey that led him to become the three-time world champion before he lost his life in a tragic incident at Imola in 1994.

Netflix has released some names of the cast who will be a part of the series.
