Motorsports TV Ratings in the USA from this past weekend where NASCAR was in Las Vegas, NHRA in Dalla and IMSA at Road Atlanta.
TV Rating Analysis
NASCAR
NBC drew 2.194 million viewers and a rating of 1.30 for the NASCAR Playoff Cup race from Las Vegas, down 16.23% from 2.619 million viewers in 2022. The rating was down 17.2%
Only 12% of the viewers tuned in were in the all-important 18-49 year old age group, a really bad result. The 18-49 age group viewers were down a massive 45.17% from 2022. NASCAR is in serious trouble.
The USA Network drew 810,000 viewers for Saturday’s NASCAR Xfinity race from Las Vegas, down 21.36% from 2022 on NBC
NHRA
FS1 drew only 191,000 viewers for the FallNationals Finals from Dallas, down 4.98% from 201,000 viewers in 2022, also on FS1.
Only 8% of the viewers tuned in were in the all-important 18-49 year old age group, a really bad result and the worse we have ever seen. Rigor Mortis is setting in.
IMSA
The USA Network drew 170,000 viewers for the season finale Petit Le Mans from Road Atlanta, down 57.5% from 400,000 viewers on NBC in 2022. The rating was down 64.3%
