The Gateway Garages at WWTR have been lengthened to almost double their size.  The change accommodated the NASCAR Series and allows fans to get up close to their team and drivers.  There are also lovely outdoor chairs and umbrellas behind the pit lane for the fans to enjoy while over in the paddock.

John Bisci, Director of Media Relations for WWTR, spoke with AR1 about enhancing the fan experience while keeping the fans safe in the paddock.  Keeping up with all the improvements made to other sporting event facilities is essential to give the ticket-paying fans the best experience.

Other improvements are planned for the next few off seasons.  Next year, the garages should be enclosed with walls and garage doors so the teams can lock up their equipment and not worry about things walking off during the night.

AR1 will keep you updated.
