SRX: 2024 Race Dates announced

The 2024 SRX / Thursday Night Thunder race dates have been announced, but no locations yet.

The SRX is an International Race of Champions (IROC)-style racing series featuring drivers from different racing disciplines competing on cars maintained and set up by the series.

The series tweeted on Aug. 22 its six Thursday night dates for the return of the summer series’ fourth season.

The official dates are July 11, July 18, July 25, Aug. 1, Aug. 8 and Aug. 15, all on ESPN.

The July 20, 2023 Thunder Road race was cancelled, and the track was awarded a race in 2024, we just do not which date yet.

Series co-founder and 2021 Superstar Racing Experience champion Tony Stewart says he’d like to see the series expand, but that current staff and budgetary limitations make that difficult.

“I think it would look like a 20- to 24-car field each week. I definitely would be interested in an 8-to-10-week schedule.”
