Jake Dennis won this year’s Formula E championship, driving for the Andretti team, and the highly rated former F2 champion, Drugovich, is tired just being a bench warming reserve driver for the Aston Martin and McLaren F1 teams.
At 23-years old, Drugovich has to decide whether to see his career waste away as a bench warming, or move to a series where he can race and win races.
In April 2023, Drugovich was selected to drive for Maserati MSG Racing during the Formula E Berlin rookie test, finishing first, setting a lap just two tenths slower than the best time in the SABIC Berlin E-Prix of Maximilian Günther.
Drugovich returned with Maserati during the rookie practice session at the Rome ePrix, in which he once again topped the timesheets. this has caught the attention of Michael Andretti if rumors are to be believed.
Andre Lotterer has been underperforming compared to teammate Jake Dennis and it appears the Andretti team has decided he has to go.
Another rumor making the rounds has Andretti, who is very impressed with Jake Dennis, possibly giving him a shot in his IndyCar team.
