IndyCar: Power Wins Poles for Iowa DoubleHeader
Will Power has added another two poles to his career total today with his two fast qualifying laps at 17.7246 and 17.395.
Power’s Team Penske teammate, Scott McLaughlin, grabbed the second spot for both races with a time of 17.9163 and 17.8469.
Josef Newgarden will start third today after posting a time of 17.8720, but will start 7th on Sunday.
Team Penske took the top-3 spots in qualifying, proving that on ovals it is 99% car and 1% driver.
Scott Dixon will start fourth today and Pato O’Ward will start fifth.
