Ferrari could face a roadblock to racing in next month's Vietnam Grand Prix as the country's national tourist board has announced that all travelers entering from Italy will be subject to 14 days of medical quarantine due to the coronavirus.

Vietnam updated its restrictions today and they now state that "all travelers entering Vietnam from China, South Korea, Italy, and Iran must carry out medical declarations and 14-day medical quarantine before entering the country."

It is a potential obstacle for F1 as it is due to hold its inaugural race in Vietnam's capital Hanoi in just five weeks. The country's tourist board confirms that the "Grand Prix will take place in Hanoi as planned on April 5th" however it might not be an easy ride for Ferrari and a number of its rivals.

The Italian auto maker supplies engines to the Alfa Romeo Racing outfit and America's Haas F1 team which also has a satellite office in Italy. All of the teams use tires made in Turkey and Romania by Pirelli which sends staff from its offices in Italy to every F1 race.
