Formula E: Andretti’s Dennis wins pole for Rome e-Prix 2
Andretti Avalanche driver Jake Dennis beat championship rival Nick Cassidy to pole for this weekend’s second Rome E-Prix.
The Andretti Autosport driver posted a 1m37.986s lap to take pole.
Cassidy, who finished second in Saturday’s opening Rome E-Prix but took the championship lead from Dennis as a result, fell 0.071s short and will start 2nd.
Dennis gets three important points for his pole position, which moves him to within two points of leader Cassidy in the standings.
