F1: Auld to be unveiled as new Australian GP boss

Senior AFL executive Travis Auld will be officially announced as the new boss of the Australian GP Formula 1 race on Thursday.
AFL chief Gillon McLachlan has emailed staff while clubs have also been told by the league of Auld’s departure.
The Age reported last week Auld had won the job to replace Andrew Westacott, who announced his resignation last December after Victoria secured the rights to the Formula 1 race through 2035.
Auld will begin his tenure on August 14th, an AGPC spokesperson confirmed with the Sydney Morning Herald.
