Rumor: Blomqvist and Armstrong to MSR

Rumor has it that Meyer Shank Racing’s IndyCar team will run their IMSA driver Tom Blomqvist and current Ganassi road course only IndyCar driver Marcus Armstrong in 2024.

New Zealander Marcus Armstrong is looking to run a full schedule next year (he is in for only 12 of 17 races this year with Ganassi) and Blomqvist has really impressed the MSR team in SportsCars and feels he is ready for IndyCar.

Word is that the team will run a 3rd car for Helio Castroneves at Indy as he tries once again to win his 5th Indy 500.

No announcements just yet, but this is the talk in the paddock.
