Automotive: EV startup Lordstown goes belly up
The Lordstown nightmare may be coming to an end. The embattled automotive startup filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection today and is offering its god-awful ugly Endurance electric pickup and related assets for sale.
Lordstown Motors was founded in 2018 and built a handful of trucks starting in September 2022 before pausing production to address quality issues in February.
Except for Tesla, all other manufacturers are losing their shirt on EVs, which is right in line with all tree-hugger ideas – they only work with government subsidies.
Bend over and be prepared to bail them out with more taxes on your hard-earned salary.
