After getting dusted by the IMSA Favored Cadillacs in the Rolex 24 The Penske Acura ARX-05 cars received performance breaks for next weekend’s WeatherTech 240 at Daytona International Speedway.

Released in a Balance of Performance update on Thursday, the Acura Team Penske DPis have been given increased boost levels equating to roughly a 7 horsepower increase – well whoopee damn doo.

No other performance-related changes have been made to the DPi class, other than adjusted fuel capacities and aero configurations for the Acura DPi as well as the Cadillac DPi-V.R and Mazda RT24-P.

The NSX GT3 Evo has been given an increase of roughly 5 horsepower at low-end RPMs, while the Ferrari 488 GT3 Evo got a 9-horsepower boost across all power levels.

Power reductions have been given to the Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo (-11 hp), BMW M6 GT3 (-10 hp), as well as the Porsche 911 GT3 R and Lamborghini Huracan GT3 Evo (both -13 hp).
