F1: Like all Red Bull Rivals, Ferrari floor archaic

–by Mark Cipolloni–

As we have seen on the Mercedes, Aston Martin and now the Ferrari, their car’s floor that generates a lot of the cars downforce, are rather simple in design compared to the Red Bull one.

While there is more to the Red Bull’s speed than the floor, that won’t stop their opponents from spending thousands of hours in the wind tunnel trying to copy it.

Laughing at the copycats in Parc Ferme – Red Bull Racing Team Consultant Dr Helmut Marko, Red Bull Racing Team Principal Christian Horner and Adrian Newey, the Chief Technical Officer of Red Bull Racing get a good laugh after the F1 Grand Prix of Canada at Circuit Gilles Villeneuve on June 18, 2023 in Montreal, Quebec.
