F1: Series to court US market with pre-Miami GP summit
Formula 1’s latest effort to raise its profile in the United States will take place in the build-up to this week’s Miami Grand Prix.
Step-by-step Formula 1 is working toward becoming the most popular form of motorsports in America and they are attacking it at all angles.
On May 4 in Miami, F1 and Custom Events from WSJ, will bring together trailblazers from the worlds of sports, entertainment and business to discuss how they can make a significant impact on the future of technology, performance, diversity and sustainability, not only in their own business but across industries and culture.
The F1 Accelerate Summit event will take place today (Thursday) outside of downtown Miami with some heavy hitter speakers.
This is a sponsored event created by The Trust, a commercial department at The Wall Street Journal.
The event is described as an opportunity for “trailblazers from the worlds of sports, entertainment and business to discuss how they can make a significant impact on the future of technology, performance, diversity and sustainability, not only in their own business but across industries and culture.”
