More evidence that Ferrari failed to counterattack Red Bull after they poached Mekies from them.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Ferrari did NOT manage to sign Pierre Waché and Enrico Balbo as reported earlier.

Negotiations with Balbo quickly came to an end when it turned out that Balbo wanted to stay in Milton Keynes.

Waché reportedly immediately rejected Ferrari’s proposal.

Red Bull’s Head of Aerodynamics Enrico Balbo is set to join Ferrari in 2024.

One reason for leaving Red Bull is to return to his home country (Italy) and be closer to his family.

Another member from Red Bull will join Ferrari, and he is said to be even more important and has made the difference at the team recently, and he knows a lot about the Red Bull car concept.
