Rumor: Teams to bring upgrades to Baku instead of waiting for Imola

Rumor has it that Red Bull, Ferrari, Aston Martin, Mercedes and McLaren will bring upgrades to their cars in time for Baku owing to its very long straight – 2.2 km (1.37 miles) – the longest in F1.

Nobody wants to wait for the European championship series because Red Bull is so slippery down the straights.

It is predicted that the improvements in RB would bring 0.2s improvement in lap times.

Word is that Ferrari will bring new sidepods and wings.
