IndyCar: Herta tops practice 2 in St. Petersburg

Andretti Autosport’s Colton Herta turned a lap of 1m00.0779s to top the 2nd practice session for the Firestone GP of St. Petersburg IndyCar race in his Honda powered machine.

Last year’s race winner, Scott McLaughlin was 2nd fastest in his Penske Chevy, 0.1732s behind Herta.

Rinus Veekay was third while Kyle Kirkwood and Alex Palou rounded out the top-5.

Qualifying is up next – streamed live on Peacock.
