GetCloser – which is also used as a hashtag on the team’s social media channels – is the mantra of our season. It’s not a slogan or just empty words: it’s a philosophy to get our fans, partners, and families closer to our team, as they all play a part in our success. It’s a plan that translates into real actions, with a program of activities to be developed over the course of the season.

Our team’s approach is fan-centric: all we do is meant to bring our growing cohort of fans closer to the team. We value openness, showing our true spirit and bringing our “home team” to the fore. We want to put the emphasis on the team element of our sport, putting the spotlight on the talented individuals that make our success possible.

On social media, Alfa Romeo F1 Team will complement its #GetCloser campaign trailer, which focuses on the work the team does both at its Hinwil HQ and trackside, with a series of videos going into deeper detail about the various activities portrayed. These videos will be published throughout the season. It’s a way to showcase the contribution of each team member to the success of the team, shining light on the work of the 550 people who make up Sauber Motorsport and whose contribution is mainly behind the scenes.
